Streaming aggregation service Reelgood has named Tim Cutting as chief advertising officer.

At Reelgood, Cutting will be responsible for providing solutions to customers – end users and business partners – regarding the fragmented nature of the OTT market.

The director joins Gracenote, where he served as head of North American sales. There, he led the company’s television broadcast expansion into several new markets.

David Sanderson, Founder and CEO of Reelgood, said, “Tim has been at the forefront of innovation in TV data, which is why we’re excited to work with him to own this new revolution in TV that solves fragmentation of streaming for our customers.

Cutting said, “What excites me about Reelgood is that they solve the streaming data problem with a content-driven mindset. People no longer tune to a channel; they tune in to content — be it Netflix or HBOMax or Disney+ — that changes by the minute.

“Reelgood’s ideas are smart, not just factual. This enables our partners and other companies in the industry to make better data-driven decisions in their content organizations, as well as in operations and products; ultimately to better compete in the streaming wars.
