Liverpool suffer another injury shot as Ozan Kabak is in injury doubt for Fulham
New Liverpool signing Ozan Kabak has become manager Jurgen Klopp’s latest headache ahead of Sunday’s Premier League game against Fulham after the Turkish center-back received a blow against Chelsea.
Kabak, who joined Liverpool on loan from Schalke 04 in early February, has started the Merseyside club’s last five games, including Thursday’s 1-0 loss to Chelsea.
“Ozan had a little problem yesterday after the game. He’s played a lot of games now and we’ll see if he’s ready for Fulham,” Klopp said at a press conference on Friday.

“It doesn’t look like the present moment, so we’ll have to find solutions.”
While Joel Matip and Jordan Henderson are also injured, Klopp said Nathaniel Phillips, who missed Chelsea’s game with a blow, should be in good shape for Fulham’s visit.
Ben Davies, another center-back who arrived at Anfield mid-season, is also available for selection.
“For Ben it’s not easy in our situation,” Klopp said. “We brought him in and he still has to adapt. He’s a very good player.”
Klopp played down top scorer Mohamed Salah’s visibly frustrated reaction to being substituted on the hour mark against Chelsea and urged his side to fight harder if they are to qualify for the Champions League.
“He wasn’t happy to be replaced as a forward, he wanted to stay. It’s a normal problem,” said Klopp, whose Liverpool side are four points behind fourth-placed Chelsea.
“Mo still has a great goalscoring record and everyone knows that even he knows he could have scored more. That’s no problem. We all need to improve, definitely.”
