Investment One Divests Mutual Fund and Pension Subsidiaries | The Guardian Nigeria News

Investment One Financial Services Limited (Investment One), a leading financial services group in Nigeria, has announced the sale of its subsidiaries, Investment One Funds Management Limited and Investment One Pension Managers Limited, to Guaranty Trust Holding Company Plc.

The transaction represents the next chapter in the strategic development of Investment One Financial Services. The transaction enables the Group to refocus its investment management and investment banking services on its high net worth and corporate clients while allowing its individual clients to benefit from GTCO’s network and service platforms in the management of their UCITS.

The directors and senior management of Investment One are convinced that this transfer is a step in the right direction for the Group. He expects the transition to be smooth given the cultural and operational similarities between the group and their former parent company now represented by GTCO.

Investment One Group CEO, Mr. Nicholas Nyamali, said he was delighted that the group could play an instrumental role in GTBank’s strategy to adopt a holding company structure while offering mutual funds and pension customers a broader service platform.
